Barbara + John

These Marina del Rey locals did away with tradition and got married on their terms.  Their invitations were sent over the internet to help preserve the environment.  After getting ready together at the Ritz Carlton, the couple opted for a photo-shoot before their ceremony.  They were all smiles as they walked, hand in hand, to Cafe del Rey (where the ceremony and reception took place).

The Reverend (also a comedian and DJ) was one of the groom’s friends.  It was a lighthearted, informal ceremony and the guests even heckled the Reverend from time to time.

About her look:

Barb wanted to leave her single days behind with a bang.  She chose a form-fitted, short, sequined, bandage dress by Hervé Léger.  Her gold and snakeskin stiletto heels were also by Hervé Léger.  The result?  Half mermaid and half Bond Girl.  Let’s just say… mission accomplished!  Make-up and hair by Angela Tam.

You tackled our family, logistics, and schedules all by yourself. Amazing. If you need a reference, I’m here for you in a heart beat.
